With Whom: Jason, Jon, and Ryan
Time: 4:45am to 8:45am
Ski Conditions: Another foot or two of the soft stuff. Still way lighter density than one would expect from this time of year. And for all you golfers out there... yeah, it is still ski season.

Either I am trying to figure out the slow sync flash settings on my camera or Jason is dead and his ghost decided to come skiing with us.

My favorite of the day.

What, you don't skin in black and white?

Skinning in color is for suckers.

But skiing in color, on the other hand...

Dude, can we just talk about the limiting barriers that have just been destroyed with my new lens? Yeah, I finally ponied up the dough.
Nice shots Dustin! What a great morning of skiing. If you have any other pictures that didn't make the site send them my way. rjdunyon@hotmail.com.
ReplyDeleteDoes my head look really small in the black and white shot?
So that was you who was in Pink Pine. We thought about heading over there but opted for Scotties instead. Fantastic day either way.
ReplyDeleteMark, yes it was us. And yes, it was a fantastic day. I really should be out training for the tri I have in 3 weeks, but I just can't tear myself away from this snow.
ReplyDeleteRyan, as always, I have other pictures that didn't make the cut, but they didn't make the cut because I didn't like them or the ones I posted were just better. I usually post the ones that are worth posting/sharing. And yes, your head does look really small in the black and white shot.
Peace

I was up on Scotties with SBJ. Man, what a fantastic day! Great lighting for photos as well.
ReplyDeleteAdam, it was a great day for shooting photos. One of those days where I wished I had more time to just hang out and shoot... and ski (probably more skiing than shooting). I saw your shots from yesterday and I like them. Good work.

great shots!, but I prefer colored ones rather than black and white =), by the way sorry to plug this one but you might also be interested that Alpine Meadows has some killer deals on next years season passes and we are just trying to get the word out to everyone to take advantage of it before it expires on May 31st. Season passes start from just $299, check it out if you are interested. Though this is a bit shameless, you have to admit that the pricing is pretty good.

Shouldn't I be being paid for comments like this? I mean, with the huge readership I have on this blog, that exposure is worth a lot!
ReplyDeleteMaybe if they see you get a lot of traffic from your website they may come back and ask to advertise ;)
