Ski Conditions: Let's face it. The ski conditions for the last week have sucked. It's true. I understand that things like this happen occasionally. I just have to have faith that another storm system will blow through and change all of that. Well, my faith has been tested and I have not been found wanting. It snowed a foot on Flagstaff. You definitely felt the hard layer underneath (both skinning and skiing) but it wasn't enough to kick you out of your turns (your skintrack, however...). It was great skiing had by all.
And people ask why we wake up early...
The snow was so light it was in your face every turn (this shot was taken right before the snow hit Jason's face).
But this one was taken with the snow engulfing Jon. Yeah, that's the stuff I like to ski.
In between turns, he gets ready for more of that white stuff making his face cold.
